Devotional
There is to be a great unity in the diversity that is called the Body of Christ. There may be differing personalities, cultures and traditions, nevertheless there will be a unity of Spirit, love and purpose if the Body is focused on Christ. Whenever Christ is the focus of a church that church will never argue about the color of carpeting, the style of music or any other self-centered opinion. And that is all these things are, self-centered opinions. A local New Testament Body can only be one if the head of that Body is Christ. Like the human body, we are able to discern the health of the Church by its joy and peace. A healthy body grows, gives, serves and joyfully worships. Nevertheless if just one part of the body is disgruntled or sin-sick the whole body will suffer. Therefore let us pray for one another, love one another and truly be one Body in Christ. If the parts are healthy, the body is healthy.
