Title

Find It and Enter It

Scripture
The Lord . . . has blessed you in all the work of your hand. He knows you’re trudging through this great wilderness . . . the Lord . . . has been with you; you have lacked nothing.
(Deuteronomy 2:7)
Devotional
Even though they missed the Promised Land and even though they complained and rebelled through their exodus from bondage, God met all their needs, protected them and multiplied them. No matter how many dreams, goals and desires we may not accomplish in this life, if we belong to the Lord our God, He will be with us and we will lack nothing. Nevertheless, it does not have to be “either,” “or.” Joshua and Caleb got both: all their provisions and the Promised Land. Why? They did not rebel nor did they complain. They believed and were obedient; they trusted and kept hope alive. The Promised Land was meant for all of God’s people. It was then and it is now. However, “There are few who find it.”(1) This doesn’t have to be. I don’t know about you, but I want to not only find it, I want to enter it as well.
