Devotional
Have you ever entered a situation with great anticipation and joy, but ended up leaving disappointed and heart-broken? Or even the reverse, you went unwillingly and left saying “I’m glad I went.” Our text basically says that if we do it God’s way, our every endeavor will be blessed. He will bless both our coming and our going. We can be blessed as we leave a job, neighborhood, position or even a relationship. We furthermore can walk into a new job, neighborhood, position or relationship blessed. God desires to bless our every move. He does so as long as we move in obedience to Him. He knows what is best for our lives and He knows the things that will harm us. Everything God commands will always be for our own well-being. The beginning and the ending of each and every day can be blessed if we begin and end each day in obedience to the Lord our God. Begin by doing what you know to do.
