Title

We Cannot Win In the Flesh

Scripture
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
(2 Corinthians 10:3)
Devotional
We cannot overcome our sin from without; it must be done from within. Oswald Chambers said it this way, “The battle is lost or won in the secret places of the will before God, never first in the external world.” We cannot walk out of our sin the same way we walked into it. We get into sin through the flesh. We get out of sin through the Spirit. Sin is not a sickness. It is SIN! Sin is a matter of the will. Therefore, we cannot blame others for our own sin. Blame is the evidence of sin. Willful sinners will always blame someone or something for their actions and deeds, always! If we are going to win the battle over sin, we must understand that it cannot be done in the flesh. It is and always will be a spiritual battle, and the battle belongs to the Lord.
