I Will Not Lose Heart

We do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
(2 Corinthians 4:16)
Devotional
It is a fact; this flesh and blood is dying. Nevertheless, it is an equal fact that who we are in Christ will never die. Therefore, let us not lose heart. When things are not going how we planed or according to our dreams and desires, let us remember, God remains in control. We do not take Him by surprise. No matter what may happen in our flesh, our spirits, souls and new bodies will live and prosper forever. We simply cannot lose in Christ. Therefore let us go for God given dreams, knowing that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”(1) If I fail, I will fail forward and not lose heart. If I have to endure I will do so patiently and again, not lose heart. In whatever God directs in my life, even though I am perishing in my flesh, I will determine not to lose heart because who I am will be renewed day-by-day.
