Title

We Will Only Harvest What We Plant

Scripture
You have plowed wickedness; you have repeated iniquity. You have eaten the fruit of lies, because you trusted in your own way.”
(Hosea 10:13)
Devotional
We do these things and we wonder why we fail to prosper. God will not be mocked. We will not reap His blessings living a life contrary to His will. This is the spiritual law of sowing and reaping. If we sow wickedness we will by no means reap righteousness. If we plant lies how can we expect to harvest truth? It is just a matter of common sense. Take inventory of your life. What do you find? Are you blessed? Are you prospering in God’s calling; or are you trusting in your own way? If so, stop leaning on your own understanding and begin to trust in the Lord your God. Instead of sowing wickedness, sow what is good. Instead of living a lie, determine to tell the truth. It is not a complex matter to do things God’s way. I promise the way of sin is much more complex than the way of righteousness.
