Devotional
What is your life producing? What kind of an impact are you having on those around you? If your life is constantly being bombarded with strife and constant failure, you may be an angry man. And if this makes you furious, you may be abounding in transgressions, which is sin. Maybe your life is not inundated by anger and wrath, but you have seasons of both. Learn to deal with and control your anger. Do your level best not to direct it toward people. It is okay to be angry at a situation but not to the point of wrath. Anger has a way of twisting truth and exaggerating situations. When it leads to the point of vengeance, it has reached the throne of God. “‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord. And again, ‘The LORD will judge His people.’”(1) Furthermore we are instructed to, “‘Be angry, and do not sin’: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.”(2)
