Title

Dare to Believe God

Scripture
Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
(Matthew 13:58)
Devotional
The power of unbelief has not diminished. It still has the power to quench dreams and destroy hopes. The entire nation of Israel did not get to enter the Promised Land because of unbelief.[9] How can there be unbelief in those who call themselves believers? How can we say that we believe in Christ for a place called heaven but do not believe Him when He says for us to give tithes and offerings? How can we trust Him with our eternal souls, but cannot trust Him with our temporal wallets? It just doesn't make any sense. How can God prosper us if we do not believe Him? He cannot, not because He is not able, but because we will not believe. Belief is an intricate part of faith, and the Bible is clear, "Without faith it is impossible to please Him."[10] God wants to do mighty works in our lives, but He can only do so if we dare to believe Him.
