Title

Wisdom Is A Delight And A Joy

Scripture
I was beside Him as a master craftsman; and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him, rejoicing in His inhabited world, and my delight was with the sons of men.
(Proverbs 8:30-31)
Devotional
Here we have the history and government of wisdom. From our work to our pleasure, wisdom is to be our constant companion. It is to be used in our decision-making and our relationships. Wisdom's purpose is all about people. Wisdom enjoys and delights in people. All that we do by it is for the betterment of others. Even though we may be working for ourselves, at the very least wisdom's byproducts will encourage and increase the well being of those around us. Wisdom furthermore enjoys God's creation and the achievements of man. It rejoices in the "Inhabited world." It does not see people as nuisances or simply polluters, but as procreators and enhancers to creation. Wisdom enjoys the beauty of a sunset, a child in its playing and the singing of people. Wisdom smiles a lot and laughs with others. Wisdom is a delight and a joy to its possessor.
