It's Your Choice

Scripture
The righteous will never be removed, but the wicked will not inhabit the earth.
(Proverbs 10:30)
Devotional
Think about the term, "Eternal life." What can there be of any greater value? What would you exchange for it, a moment of pleasure, fame, seventy or eighty years of days? Any trade would be not only a bad deal, but a stupid one as well.

God's intent for His creation was that it would last forever. Nevertheless, because of mankind's succumbing to sin's intrusion, eternal peace and joy was interrupted.

But that interruption does not have to be permanent. It is true that everyone will live somewhere forever. The question is, where will that somewhere be, heaven or hell? Both are real, both are occupied. One is a place of perfection the other a place of damnation. Heaven is called paradise, while hell is a place of lonely torment.

If we choose Christ, we choose paradise; if we reject Him, we opt for eternal separation from all that God has intended us to have. It's your choice.
