Title

Write It Down

Scripture
My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition… My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
(Psalm 45:1)
Devotional
If you are reading this little devotion, you may wish to be writing one. I started writing a daily devotion in 1994. I did so for my then estranged son who at the time was playing the prodigal. I would think of what I wanted to communicate with Him from God's Word and simply write it down. I began with a bound notebook writing longhand. Over the years my son has more than come home and more than matured. Likewise my writing of daily devotions has somewhat matured. Since then I have written devotions on thousands of scriptures, the equivalent of four devotionals books, two of which have been published. Writing has become part of my personal daily devotions. Here is what I know: you have something to say and there are people who want to hear and have what you say. From your family to your children's children your writings can be a legacy of your life. Think about this. How would you like to have writings from your parents or great-grandparents?
