Title

Work for Relationships, Not Things

Scripture
She seeks wool and flax, and willingly works with her hands.
(Proverbs 31:13)
Devotional
Work is a good thing it is what God calls the thing that He does, "The work of the Lord."[1] It is commanded, "Six days you shall labor and do all your work."[2] Furthermore, "If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat."[3] Work is good. Men need to work and work diligently to supply the needs for their families. Likewise, women are to work. The only difference being is that the Bible strongly indicates that it is best for a married woman, especially if she has children, to work in the home. I know that what I am saying upsets some. And that it may be "politically incorrect" and sound "chauvinistic." I mean to be neither. I do mean to be relevant and to have your best interest in mind. I furthermore mean no condemnation. Nevertheless, may I encourage you to consider what would be best for you and your family? Life is more than about things, it is about relationships.
