Devotional
God sees our lives from the eyes of eternity, for He dwells in timelessness. Therefore our lives happen simultaneously in the sight of the Lord. There is no history or future events in heaven, there just is. If there were a Biblical explanation of predestination, it would have to be found from eternity's perspective. Imagine our lives as a road map. God sees our beginning, our present location and our ending concurrently. Therefore, we never take God by surprise. Heaven is never in a panic over our life's circumstances. We may not understand why things are happening the way that they are, but God does. Always remember, "We never take heaven by surprise," never. We can totally trust our Creator. He is always in control, even though we are more than often out of control. He always knows and He always cares. We can place all our confidence in Him.
