Title

More Choices

Scripture
It is a joy for the just to do justice, but destruction will come to the workers of iniquity.
(Proverbs 21:15)
Devotional
Some of the greatest truths of God's Word are the simplest of truths. Good people find contentment in doing good while the practitioners of evil find pleasure in doing evil. Here we have a very simple truth with very powerful consequences. One leads to destruction the other to joy. The choosing of the fruit is easy the bearing of the fruit on the other hand can prove to be a much more difficult matter. Living justly requires that we by the grace of God overcome the temptations of our base sin nature. However when we do overcome them, we can and will experience joy unspeakable and full of glory.[1] It takes little effort to succumb to the lust of the flesh and the temptations of life. Nevertheless when we discipline ourselves, we can be more than conquerors and be counted with the just as well as receive the rewards of that justice.
