Devotional
We have here the reason for the death of dreams and the demise of visions. The unteachable never learn life’s lessons. They are constantly attempting to reinvent the wheel. “I Did It My Way” might have been a great song, but very often “My Way” is the “Wrong Way”. Remember Proverbs 14:12, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” Moreover, the death of dreams and visions is not the greatest ruin; going astray is the ultimate end. We go astray when we fall away from the One who gives dreams and visions. Here we have the greatest of unteachable folly.
Why go the way of the foolish? Why see the death of your dreams and visions? Why not receive instruction, why not be teachable, and see your dreams and goals come to fruition? There are wise teachers waiting to instruct you. If the student is ready, the teacher will come.
