Title

When The Vision Leaves

Scripture
The whole vision has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one who is literate, saying, "Read this, please." And he says, "I cannot, for it is sealed." ,
(Isaiah 29:11)
Devotional
Whether we see it or not, there is a vision from the Lord. Why is it often times hidden? We can only wonder and continue to seek it. We may hate to admit it, but when the vision is hidden from us it is because of our unwillingness to walk in obedience to the commands of Christ. I have found in my own life that whenever I am not hearing from the Lord it is never His fault. I no of no sadder state than to be without a vision: no goals, no dreams, no aim. When we are without vision, life is at best mundane. Without vision we simply exist. How sad, how very sad. Therefore let us seek God's vision for our lives. If for some reason the vision is hidden from us, let us be relentless in finding the reason why. If God reveals sin in our lives, let us be quick to turn from that sin. Once the vision is revealed, let us hold on to it with all the strength we have. For, "Where there is no vision, the people perish."[1]
