Devotional
There is only one covenant maker and only one covenant. There is only one way to God and that is by grace though faith in Christ Jesus the Lord. That is it for everyone born of woman. There is no exception, not one. This is the plurality of salvation. Nevertheless plurality of salvation does not equate to an equality of leadership in God's kingdom. The kingdom of God is not a democracy, but a biblical theocracy (the direct government of God). Even though we are one in Christ, there remains government: "He (Christ) Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers."[1] Rank has no bearing on the quality of our salvation. There is not one who is more or less saved than anyone who has been redeemed. The same price was paid for the greatest of sinners as for the most righteous of sinners. That price was paid in full by Christ thorough His death, burial and resurrection.
