Obviously we can learn lies. Evolution in many arenas is taught as an absolute truth as is deism, humanism and many other new age philosophies. Likewise, many Christian are dogmatic about things of which God is not. The reason being is that we must be learning man's religion instead of knowing the truth. The only way to know the truth is to know Christ. Many supposedly know a lot about Him, but by their actions and deed obviously do not know Him. When all that we know about a person is based on someone else's relationship to that person, there is too much room for error. For example, I enjoy biographies about Abraham Lincoln, I know many things about him, but I do not know him. The same applies with too many people in churches: they know a bit about Christ, but they do not know Him personally as Savior and Lord of their lives. The apostle John instructs, "He who says,
