How foolish of us it would be to pick and choose what portions of God's Word to believe or follow. Our text is crystal clear, "Every word of God is pure." This most ancient of books has proven itself time and time again. It has been scrutinized, sifted and maligned. Yet it has stood the test of time, science and accusers. I like to refer to it as, "The Manufacture's Handbook." To live this life without its wisdom, guidance and truths is a sure way to miss all that God intended us to have and experience in this life. Dare study the historical, scientific and grammatical accuracy of the Book of the ages, the Bible. Put it to the test. Apply its teachings. Obey its commands. Study it, memorize it and pray it. Let the Bible have the preeminence in your library. Keep it dust free and its pages ragged. Mark it with pen and ink. God will be a shield to those who put their trust in Him through it.
