Title

Does God Hear Your Voice?

Scripture
Hear my voice, O God, in my meditation, Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
(Psalm 64:1)
Devotional
We can pray silently. We can pray while driving our cars, resting on our beds, and working at our jobs. We can pray anywhere, anytime. As a matter of fact, we are instructed to pray without ceasing. In our text, the psalmist uses three inspired words of instruction, “Hear my voice.” How often does God get to hear your voice in prayer? How often do you verbalize to Him praise, adoration, thanksgiving, and supplication? I’m not talking about a whisper or a dinner blessing. I’m talking about conversing with Him “out loud”? I know of no greater way to fellowship with the Lord. Go for a walk with Him, and as you walk, talk. Open up and share your struggles and desires. Ask Him questions. Explain to Him your doubts and frustrations. Then listen with an ear toward obedience. Afterwards, thank and praise Him “out loud.” Let Him Hear your voice.
