(2 Chronicles 5:12-13)
Devotional
Solomon was not ashamed nor embarrassed to praise and worship the Lord God before the people. He demonstrated his gratefulness and gratitude to God by kneeling and with upraised hands praising the Lord. There was no doubt in the people’s minds that Solomon was reaching out to heaven. He did so boldly and openly, calling on the name of the Lord. Permit me to ask you, when was the last time you demonstrated this type of humility before the Creator of the universe? When was the last time you unashamedly praised Him and worshipped Him publicly? You may answer, “That’s just not the way I am.” Think about what keeps you from expressing your adoration for God. Look at the scriptures. What so they tell you about praise and worship? I am not suggesting that you do so to impress man, but I am strongly recommending that you do so to impress heaven. Please realize, it is heaven that you are attempting to reach.
