Title

Labor In Grace

Scripture
By the grace of God I am what I am... I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
(1 Corinthians 15:10)
Devotional
The book of Titus tells us, “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.”(1) What separates the average Christian from men and women of valor? What makes an apostle Paul or a virtuous Ruth? If God’s grace has truly appeared to all men, why are we not all like the faithful of the scriptures? I think that the one thing missing is found in our text, “labor.” The apostle Paul said, “I labored more abundantly than they all.” He sandwiched his labor between grace and changed the world. We all have the grace of God available to us, therefore let us labor in that grace. Grace is God granting us the ability to be conformed into the image of His Son and empowering us with His Word and by His Spirit. We have the grace. Now let us be willing to labor. Let us labor in our grace; doing what we know to do.
