Title

Great Faith

Scripture
Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.
(Hebrews 10:38)
Devotional
The Bible furthermore says that without faith it is impossible to please God. Therefore, everything the believer does must be done by faith. Faith will always require unseen evidence. It demands believing, trusting, and obedience. In the flesh, faith leaves room for doubt. Great faith requires reckless abandonment. Human reasoning is abandoned, and hope in God is all that remains. Great exploits call for great faith. Those who have accomplished the most for Christ have done so with extraordinary faith. Just faith says to the world, “With man this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.” Jesus said, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” If you desire to achieve great ventures for God, you will need total obedience, which calls for great faith. Once you begin to please God, you will not be able to draw back.
