Title

God Has Not Moved

Scripture
Therefore say to them, “Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Return to Me and I will return to you.’”
(Zechariah 1:3)
Devotional
God has not moved. He is where He has always been. When He is silent, it is because we are not where He is speaking. If He is distant, it is because we have left His presence. Listen to the instructions of the psalmist, “When you said, seek My face, my heart said to You, ‘Your face, Lord, I will seek.’” James says it this way, “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” God has not left you; for He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” If you feel as if God is far from you, remember, it is you who has moved. Simply return to the Lord. Confess your sins to Him. He will be faithful and just to forgive you of those sins. For those who are away from the Lord. He is saying to you, “My child I love you. Return to Me.”
