(Mark 3:9)
Devotional
We often mistakenly perceive Jesus as an impulsive wondering nomad with no plan and no organization. How very wrong that conception is. Jesus operated under the clearest of guidelines. He knew what needed to be accomplished and He knew how to accomplish it. His mornings were spent in prayer and preparation getting His marching orders for the day and His day was spent accomplishing those orders. He was a man under authority and He was a man of authority. He planed His entry and He, here in our text, had an exit strategy. He followed His Father's direction and He directed His followers. His ministry was a planned ministry. He counted His words and as we clearly know, He made His words count. Jesus knew where He was going. He knew what was to be accomplished and He strategically managed His life, death and above all His resurrection.
