Supernaturally Natural

Scripture
He commanded them strictly that no one should know it, and said that something should be given her to eat.
(Mark 5:43)
Devotional
The natural follows the supernatural. Jesus miraculously restored a young girl to life, and immediately gave practical instructions for her well being. Here we have an example of the practicality that is to follow the supernatural. We were miraculously saved, but now we are given practical guidance by which to live. Christ supernaturally forgave us of our sins, and then He gives practical instruction and says, "Go and sin no more." Our faith in Christ is not a matter of the miraculous or the practical, it is a matter of the miraculous along with the practical. Our walk with Christ is to be supernaturally natural and naturally supernatural. When Christ saves us, He also guides us. Therefore, when God sends a miracle your way, expect a practical application to follow. It takes both to walk in obedience. It takes both to bear fruit. God is glorified by the miraculous; we are edified by the practical application that follows.
