Title

Favor Or Wrath

Scripture
The king's favor is toward a wise servant, but his wrath is against him who causes shame.
(Proverbs 14:35)
Devotional
If we live by the wisdom of God's Word we will incur favor. Likewise let us show the same favor to those around us who live and work with this godly wisdom. Favor is a two way street that is to be traveled by the wise of heart. If on the other hand we choose to live our lives void of God's standards we will receive both the wrath of man and the wrath of God. Whether as a neighbor, employee, public servant or businessman this simple law of sowing and reaping will always come to fruition. Of all the favor we would ever hope to attain, the favor of the Lord is to be desired above all. Likewise of all the wrath we would hope to avoid, the wrath of God is to be feared over all. Let us work in such a way as to seek the favor of God and man and let us do so without wrath or malice, but with all sincerity, glorifying the Lord.
