Hell and Destruction

Hell and Destruction are before the Lord; so how much more the hearts of the sons of men.
(Proverbs 15:11)

I do not necessarily understand the comparison, but I do understand that the Lord is all knowing. He knows everything there is to know about everyone who has ever lived and will live. And He knows our hearts better than we know them. Even though the memories of men fad from history, they never fad from the knowledge of God. The only thing that God forgets is that which He chooses to forget; and that is atoned for sin. He says in Isaiah, "I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; and I will not remember your sins."[1] What does God know about you? Well the answer is everything. Has He chosen to forget your sins? If you have accepted His son as Lord and Savior of your life, He has. If not, why not do so today. He again says, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him...[2]
