Have You Read Any Faces Lately?

Scripture
In the light of the king's face is life, and his favor is like a cloud of the latter rain.
(Proverbs 16:15)

We've got to know when to approach and when to leave alone. We've got to know when to ask and when not to ask. Timing more than often depends of the evident mood of those from whom we are seeking favor. Whether it is the boss or a customer being able to read a demeanor may determine our ability to succeed. If we fail to discern expression we may likewise fail. I hate to put it this way, but make your move when you find those whom you are attempting to win in a "good mood." From a teenager asking for the car to an employee asking for a raise there is Biblical wisdom in knowing when to ask. That wisdom may be as simple as being able to read an expression. It is not a matter of people being fickle, even though we more than often are, it is a matter of fact. We are not always approachable for every situation. The face can and more than often is a traffic signal telling us when to go, stop or wait. Learn to read them and you will travel life with fewer violations.
