Title

Hold On To Your Integrity

Scripture
Better is the poor who walks in his integrity than one who is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.
(Proverbs 19:1)
Devotional
There are few character attributes that we can possess greater than our integrity. Nothing in this life is to be traded for it: not wealth, position nor fame. For without integrity we are but fools. Integrity does not deny or compromise its faith. Integrity gives us the ability to trust, obey and succeed. To posses integrity, one has to simply choose to walk in it. There is no magic in its acquisition. There is only the willingness to heed its direction. Proverbs further declares that it will guide us[1] Job knew that it was his only hope.[2] The moment we relinquish our integrity, perversity fills the gap and we will act foolishly. Integrity brings focus. Therefore, let us hold on to it with all that we have. And all that we have is our integrity. Lose it and you're lost.  Gain it and you will find all that you are seeking.
