Title

Note The Wicked

Scripture
The soul of the wicked desires evil; his neighbor finds no favor in his eyes.
(Proverbs 21:10)
Devotional
You cannot please wicked people, don't even try. All that we can do is pray that they turn from their wickedness. Never attempt to appease or pacify them. All that you will do is be tempted to be like them. You furthermore cannot find favor with the wicked unless you join in their wickedness. And even then, that favor will be very short lived. They will eventually find fault with you and betray you. If you have the authority, rebuke the wicked in his or her wickedness. Tell them the truth and let it convict and change them; remember, you cannot. If they fall, it will not be your fault. Proverbs 11:5 instructs, "The wicked will fall by his own wickedness."[1] We are to love them, but we must likewise note them. Remember, you cannot get the wickedness out of the wicked, that is up to them and their yielding to God, not you.
