When we begin to do the things we do without understanding why we do them, we have wondered into the way of death. What we are doing will die. Without understanding there is no reason or life. That which we do is dead. To wonder from the way of understanding is to wonder away from sound reason and godly purpose. We must know why we do the things we do. It is amazing how many people go through life doing the same things over and over again and not knowing the reason why. We are to ask ourselves, why am I doing what I am doing? Understanding will always bring about change. We will change the way we think and we will change our actions. Understanding is able to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you.[1] There are too many dead works. Do not be a part of them. Therefore in all your getting, get understanding.[2]
