Title

Obey the Laws of Man and God

Scripture
He answered for himself, "Neither against the law of the Jews, nor against the temple, nor against Caesar have I offended in anything at all."
(Acts 25:8)
Devotional
The apostle Paul was not a rebel, nor was he an activist. He was a disciple of Christ. He was not about winning a victory over his enemies; he was all about winning over his enemies. He did not violate the laws of God nor man. He walked in total integrity and obedience to the laws of man and God. His only crime was the truth of the Gospel of Christ. This is to be an example of the lifestyle of all believers. Instead of being against people, lets be for the things of God. Instead of marching and protesting, lets listen and give answers. Paul's desire was to speak to the authorities that they may be won. God granted him his desire. "Then Agrippa said to Festus, ‘I also would like to hear the man myself.’ ‘Tomorrow,’ he said, ‘you shall hear him.’”[1] Obey the law and be ready to give an answer of the hope that is in you.[2]
