Devotional

The wisdom of God, like God Himself, has always been and will always be. His wisdom is eternal, without beginning and without ending. It is not governed by time, space or distance. It simply is. When we can somewhat begin to grasp that eternity is timeless and that everything in a sense exists simultaneously with God, we then can begin to fathom his ability to be omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent. We are told that, "The Lord merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born."[1] That's why, all wisdom, all knowledge and all understanding are gifts from God. These are eternally with Him. Therefore, when we by faith tap into them, we will see that we are indeed, fearfully and wonderfully made and how marvelous are His works.[2] We may not fully grasp eternity, but eternity can and will someday grasp us.
