Title

We Are All One In Christ

Scripture
And it shall be: as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the creditor, so with the debtor.
(Isaiah 24:2)
Devotional
The judgments and blessings of God are without regard to rank, status or any other social or economical category by which we measure success. What we are does not merit who we are in Christ, just as who we are does not nullify what we are in Him. Likewise with His judgments, we cannot escape them by our position among man. For example, no matter what we are in this life, there is no escaping the realm of death. It will visit us all. Whether coming to Christ or leaving this world, who we are in Christ is all that will matter for eternity. Likewise when it comes to the fellowship of the saints, social and economical status should not make a difference in our love and care for each other. Christ destroys the cast systems of man. In God's kingdom, "There is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all."
