Title

May The Hyphen Be Removed

Scripture
The wicked is banished in his wickedness, but the righteous has a refuge in his death.
(Proverbs 14:32)
Devotional
Tuesday, September 11, 2001, terrorist attacked the United States, brazenly killing thousands of very innocent people. It was a horrific day. I was not yet born December 7, 1941, when Pearl Harbor was likewise maliciously attacked. But I think I now know how my parents must have felt. With all of our imperfections, America remains one of the godliest nations on the face of the earth. Therefore, may the innocent victims who lost their lives be counted as the righteous. May they have found a refuge in their death. And may those wicked, foolish, misguided terrorists be forever banished in their wickedness. And may this nation under God remain indivisible with liberty and justice for all. May the hyphen be removed: African-American, European-American, and Asian-American. May we be united as a godly nation. May revival come to our shores, and may we repent of our wickedness. And may God bless America.
