"The word of the Lord endures forever." Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.

Devotional
The Scriptures likewise say, "The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever."[26] Jesus furthermore said, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away."[27] Everything on this earth is temporal except those created in the image of God and God's Word. You and I will dwell somewhere in eternity. The Word of God has been and always will be eternal. There are many great writings in the world, many great books. But the book we call the Bible is not to be compared to any other volume. It stands alone in not only the understanding of God, but in history, government, ethics and science. We cannot truly understand the nature of man aside from it. No other book has influenced the world like it. The Bible has set the foundations of nations and inspired the greatest of works. The word of the Lord truly endures forever.
