Life Goes On

Scripture
The grave, the barren womb, the earth that is not satisfied with water
(Proverbs 30:15b-16)
Devotional
As long as the Lord grants life there will be births and death, rain and fire. These will never stop until the Lord returns; then all things shall be changed. No more death, only a new birth into a new realm of eternal life. I do not know the complete reason for this seemingly simple proverb, but I do know that it tills us that life goes on. Rains come and fires burn. Therefore we should not take ourselves too seriously. Let us by all means enjoy lie to the fullest and fear God with all our being. This is man's all on the earth. Because all things continue as from the beginning of creation, let us do our very best to appreciate God's handiwork and will for our lives. This we can and will do if we learn to not only enjoy life, but enjoy God as well. We have been created in His image and we dwell on the earth, which He Himself has created
