Title

Am I Teachable?

Scripture
Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; Teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
(Proverbs 9:9)
Devotional
The wise get wiser, and the teachable keep learning-Such a simple attainable concept. We can measure our level of wisdom by our willingness to receive instruction, and by the freshness of the things we learn. How we respond to instruction reflects our potential for growth. A wise man receives instruction. A fool is persistent on doing his own thing. A just man is teachable. An unjust man thinks he knows it all. A wise man honors his mentor. A fool judges him. A just man models his teacher. An unjust man mocks him. The wise man follows instructions, while the fool gropes in his own darkness. The teachable listen. Fools only talk. The wise man fears God. The fool fears man. The just man obeys God, while the unjust man is a law unto himself. The choice is clear. Choose success. Choose wisdom.
