Title

We Have A Communication Problem

Scripture
That you also may know my affairs and how I am doing, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make all things known to you.
(Ephesians 6:21)
Devotional
Technology has made it easier to communicate than any time throughout history. This devotion for example has the potential to travel instantly throughout the world. We can write letters or send e-mails. We can make hard-wire phone calls or use small handheld cellular computers. Yet with all the technology we have at our disposal, we have a communication problem. The problem is in what we are or are not communicating. We have become an inept society that speaks in sound bites and platitudes, clichés and triviality. For many, if it were not for the weather or sports there would be nothing to say. When was the last time you carried on a conversation of significance? When was the last time you opened-up and shared your affairs and how you are truly doing? When was the last time you had a conversation that really made a difference in someone’s life?
