Title

Many Ministries, But One Lord

Scripture
There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord.
(1 Corinthians 12:5)
Devotional
The teacher often thinks that the evangelist is shallow because all he cares about is the number of souls saved. The evangelist thinks that all the teacher is interested in is the quality of those saved. It is true, the evangelist is interested in quantity, and the teacher is interested in quality, but they both have the same Lord. The lesson is simple, let us not judge the giftedness of others by the interest of others. One person is concerned about building and another about maintaining. The missionary is not to judge the administrator. Each of us has differing ministries. We are to be concerned with the overall ministry of the church, but we are also to understand that we will have a greater interest in our calling compared to the calling of another. Therefore, if someone is not as moved as you are about your ministry, do not worry, you most likely are not as interested in theirs.
