Good understanding gains favor, but the way of the unfaithful is hard. (Proverbs 13:15)
The more we understand the things of God and the things of this life the more favor we will give and the more favor we will receive. This is the way of the faithful. It is the way of those who have truly learned to believe, trust and obey God. Think about your life. Are you living a life that shows favor to others? Have you found favor from others? If your life is defined as "hard," I hate to say it, but maybe, just maybe you have been unfaithful to God and people. Have you? Dare ask yourself that hard question. Dare take a good look at your life and determine is it a life of favor or is it a life of hardship? I am not talking about tribulation or even being hated by the enemies of the cross, I am talking about the ability to find favor with authorities, business associates, family and friends. Faithfulness always finds favor with God and man. It really does.
