Devotional
The Lord will have His way with you. If He desires to bless you, you cannot stop the blessing. If He moves to curse you, you cannot avoid the curse. Therefore, why not be persuaded by the goodness and kindness of His Word? He is stronger than us and His Word is the strength of His power. The apostle Paul said to the church in Rome, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God…” Understand, there will be a day when every knee shall bow and every tongue confess the sovereignty of the Creator. Those who acknowledge Him now acquire everlasting life and a present blessing. Those who fail to acknowledge Christ now will after death do so, but then it will be too late, and they will be eternally cursed. Therefore every man, woman and child will someday be persuaded. Why not do so now? God will prevail. Will you?Daily Reading
