There are few entities as powerful as the mouth. From the expressions it makes to the words it speaks. "Death and life are in the power of the tongue."[42] Life enters the mouth through the sustenance we consume and the air we breathe. Death escapes the mouth through warring words and contagious disease. Therefore what enters and exits the mouth is to be carefully measured and weighed. Let us gauge its function with wisdom and time. Let us be slow to speak and slow to ingest. Let our words and delicacies be few. Let us be diciplined and apply a healthy diet to our lips.
