When he (Barnabas) came and had seen the grace of God, he was glad, and encouraged them all that with purpose of heart they should continue with the Lord.(Acts 11:23)
Devotional
The same grace of God that saved the first century church has saved you and me. Our salvation has likewise brought joy to both heaven and earth. Now, in the same manner, we need to be regularly encouraged with the preaching and teaching of God's Word. Every believer needs a Barnabas. We need leaders, people to whom we are to be accountable. In addition, we are to "with purpose of heart" continue with the Lord. That is, by choice walk in obedience to ChristDaily Reading
