The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.(2 Thessalonians 2:41527)

We cannot love the truth without loving Christ and we cannot love Christ without loving the truth. For Jesus Christ is the truth.[31] The deeds of the lawless one are always done void of the love of the truth. They may come with, "all power, signs, and lying wonders," but they will be lacking godly love. Here is a sure sign of deception: no matter how good and noble it may sound if it is not spoken in love it is lacking the truth.[32] Those who love the truth will always speak with grace, mercy and wisdom. "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one."[33] The love of the truth brings unity among the believers. The love of the truth recognizes spiritual authority. The love of the truth does not abandon Christ, His Church or His people. The love of the truth brings salvation.Daily Reading
