Devotional
I thank God that we do not have to excel at everything we do. I am thankful that I do not have to excel at singing, or art, or sports. I just have to excel at my work. If I do, God says, I get to stand before kings. I am convinced that God has given me the capability to excel at my work. He has given me all the talent I need, all the ability I need, and all the know-how I need. However, the desire, willingness and motivation to excel is up to me. I have the ability to succeed. I have the ability to accomplish great things for the Lord. I have the ability to prosper at whatever God calls me. Therefore, if I end up standing before the unknown, it sure is not God’s fault. Lord, let me be the man who stands before kings, and let me do so to your glory.Daily Reading
