Seeing The Vision

Scripture
There are those who rebel against the light; They do not know its ways Nor abide in its paths.
(Job 23:13)
Devotional
Of all the natural senses: sight, hearing, taste, smell, touch, I think sight has to be the most wonderful. Yet the ability to see, without Spiritual vision, often leads to sinful lust. The same sight the allows us to enjoy the blessing of God’s creation can likewise bring the curse of the lust of the flesh. Therefore, even better than inherent sight is spiritual sight, the ability to see the kingdom of God. Jesus said it this way, “Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Darkness is a metaphor for sin. Therefore, if you find that Spiritual light is repulsive to you, you will not be able to know its way or abide in its path. Light is the revealer of the truth. To see God’s vision for your life, you must be born to see-that is, you must be born again.
