Devotional
We do not belong to ourselves. Once we have accepted the finished work of Calvary, we have relinquished our lives to Christ. We still have the liberty to make choices and the freedom to enjoy life. However, we cannot use that freedom and liberty as a license to sin. Though we can choose to sin, we no longer have the right to do so. The price paid was the highest possible. No one can outbid Christ for you. You belong to Christ and you simply are not for sale. Therefore, live a life worthy of the price paid for you. Live in such a way that the world knows you belong to Christ. Say boldly, “I belong to Christ.” Worship Him in both word and deed. As the scripture states, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”Daily Reading
