Title

Remaining Youthful

Scripture
Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth.
(Ecclesiastes 12:1)
Devotional
The preacher says, “Remember now.” He does not say remember later or tomorrow, but “Remember now.” There is an urgency in his charge, and rightfully so. For there is a foolishness found in youthfulness. Unless youthfulness is accompanied by the presence of the Creator, it will lead to childishness, and “Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child.” Youthfulness is also relevant. Five is young to fifteen, fifteen is young to thirty, and everyone is young to ninety. Furthermore, we will never be younger than we are today. Therefore, we are to have a youthfulness about us. There is to be a child like spirit in every believer. We are to always dream, hope and be blessed. When we compare our present age with eternity, We are just children. Therefore, we are always to remember our Creator. When we do, we will remain youthful.
